Salem Holland Ford Reminiscences, 1909.

Typewritten reminiscence recounts Ford's experiences as a Confederate soldier from May 1861 when he was mustered in the Missouri State Guard until he surrendered at Shreveport, Louisiana, on June 15, 1865. He details many battles in which he took part, including Wilson's Creek, Pea Ridge, and Prairie Grove. The collection also includes two photographs of Ford and a 1961 New York Times article regarding the Civil War in Arkansas and Missouri.
